Research on Optical Code Division Multiple Access Passive Optical Network based on Chaotic Spread Spectrum

Published: 06 June 2021 Publication History

Abstract

In this paper, we have studied an optical code division multiple access (OCDMA-WDM-PON) passive optical network technology based on chaotic spread spectrum, and proposed a system scheme of OCDMA-WDM-PON. Then we analyzed the initial value sensitivity, autocorrelation and cross-correlation of henon chaotic sequence as address code. Through MATLAB simulation platform, we obtained the performance comparison of henon chaotic sequence with other logistic chaotic sequences, and verified the superiority and feasibility of chaotic sequence as address code in communication system. It is concluded that chaotic sequence as address code has the advantages of good performance, large number of users, not easy to be copied and easy to generate address code.
