Abstract
This quarter's article expertly leads us from foundations to state-of-the-art in multiplayer turn-based infinite-duration games for synthesis of reactive systems. Providing examples throughout and an extensive coverage of related work, I expect it will quickly become a standard reference in the field.

Games in system design and verification
TARK '05: Proceedings of the 10th conference on Theoretical aspects of rationality and knowledgeWe review some classical and recent results about graph games, and their applications in the design and verification of component-based reactive systems.
We consider graph games, where a token is moved along the edges of a directed graph in an infinite ...

Is runtime verification applicable to cheat detection?
NetGames '04: Proceedings of 3rd ACM SIGCOMM workshop on Network and system support for gamesWe investigate the prospect of applying runtime verification to cheat detection. Game implementation bugs are extensively exploited by cheaters, especially in massively multiplayer games. As games are implemented on larger scales and game object ...
