Mobile Terminal H5-based Interaction Design in China's High-speed Rail Science Popularization—With “Approaching High Speed Rail” Project as an Example

Published: 18 August 2021 Publication History

Abstract

China's high-speed rail science popularization works currently mainly come in two forms: paper books and video works. In such forms, the audience only acts as passive receiver in one direction, lacking interaction and timeliness. Thanks to H5 technology, China's high-speed rail science popularization takes advantage of its digital interaction characteristics to upgrade the traditional static passive browsing to all-media, active and interactive information dissemination, thereby increasing the audience's adherence and participation enthusiasm. Regarding the design for "Approaching High-speed Rail" project initiated in Guangdong Province's research and reform in teaching, its framework includes content design, visual design, and interface design, with the core emphasis on interaction design and audio, video design. The project design utilizes H5 new media technology for expression, allowing people to understand high-speed rail and feel the technological charm of China's high-speed rail in a relaxed and dynamic atmosphere.
