ABSTRACT
This study examines the principles of universal design and neurodiversity theory as they interact during the onboarding processes of Student Disability Services departments. Finding fundamental conflicts between these two schools of thought, particularly in terms of self-identification and disability negotiation, I advance a novel framework of neuro-positionality in user-centered design.
