Research on the Evaluation Method of Software Static Quality based on AHP

Abstract

Static analysis tools generate a lot of information about the software. We proposed the evaluation index of the software quality based on the information, and calculated the weight coefficient of the evaluation index by using the AHP method, then established the software static quality evaluation model. The result of 8 software projects shows that this method can evaluate the software quality objectively and quantitatively, also provide decision & guidance for software maintenance.
