Programming for Matrix Displacement Method Based on MATLAB

Published:27 October 2021Publication History

ABSTRACT

Based on MATLAB and matrix displacement method, the finite element program of plane bar system structure is designed in this paper, and its compiling idea and application method are explained with examples. The program is written according to the general mode of analyzing rigid frame and regards continuous beam and truss as special rigid frame, so that it can be used to analyze rigid frame, continuous beam, truss and composite structure. For different types of structures, the unified analysis mode is adopted, which has particular advantages for analyzing composite structure.
