Developments and Trends of China Internet Insurance from the Perspective of Digital Inclusive Finance System

ABSTRACT

Since G20 officially announced the concept of Digital Financial Inclusion in 2016, many countries and international organizations released relevant regulatory documents. On October 15th 2020, the People's Bank of China released 2019 China Inclusive Finance Indicator Analysis Report. It started Fintech creation regulation pilot projects and encouraged explorations in digital inclusive finance creation fields. This article reported the current China Internet insurance developments from insurance usage and service quality in the view of digital inclusive finance system. It predicted future Internet insurance business trends in China which would be useful for Internet insurance business strategy making and government regulation.
