Published: 22 November 2021 Publication History

Abstract

In recent years, Spanish majors have been popularized in higher vocational colleges and have become an important part of Spanish professional education in higher education in China. Spanish higher vocational education can provide more Spanish talents for enterprises and industries to meet the needs of the market. Therefore, strengthening the research on the teaching management of Spanish majors in higher vocational colleges plays an important role in theory and practice. According to the survey, there are more than 30 native speakers in the world, and nearly 500 million people in the world use Spanish, while only more than 40 institutions of higher learning offer Spanish. With the increasing economic and trade exchanges between China and Spain and Latin America, the demand for Spanish talents will increase. Although the scale of Spanish teaching in China has made great progress, it is far from meeting the needs of Spanish talents in the market. Nowadays, Spanish teaching in China is in a period of rapid development, but the age distribution of teachers is uneven, young teachers are the majority, and lack of teaching experience. In addition, because Spanish teaching in colleges and universities is relatively later than other foreign languages, such as English and Japanese.
