Rapid prototyping of chatbots for data exploration

Published: 17 October 2021 Publication History

Abstract

This paper reports on the experience we carried out in the last years for the definition of a model-based technique for the automatic generation of chatbots for data exploration. We illustrate how this technique has been integrated within a no-code platform offering visual notations to index relational data sources and bind them to conversation flows for data exploration.

This video presents CODEX, a no-code platform for the rapid prototyping of chatbots for data exploration. CODEX is based on a model-based technique that guides the automatic generation of the chatbot code; it offers visual notations to: i) index relational data sources, and ii) bind them to conversational patterns for data exploration.
