Published:14 March 2022Publication History

ABSTRACT

Through the analysis of massive amounts of data, big data provides timely information and feedback, which has played an important role in improving the modern governance capabilities of government departments. On the one hand, big data has played an active role in promoting the scientificization of public management, improving social supervision capabilities, promoting the diversification of governance entities, and expanding the scope of public services; on the other hand, due to the one-sidedness of big data predictions and the main body of data Factors such as dispersion may cause problems such as misleading government decisions, forming information islands, and endangering public safety. Promoting the establishment of a big data strategy, integrating big data resources, and promoting the rational use of big data are the main ways to apply big data. Big data has great prospects in promoting the improvement of government governance. In order to make big data serve the government governance process more effectively, put it as much as possible on the country's strategic level, carry out consistent planning and development; share public data, to form a database of data and information to promote the development of smart cities.
