Research on Spatial Accessibility of Urban Facilities Using Geographic Information Science and Road Network Data

Published: 14 March 2022 Publication History

Abstract

Taking the cooperation zone of China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City as the study area, we classify the cultural facilities and calculate their space coverage based on road network data, and then empower and integrate the service capacity of various cultural facilities by analytic hierarchy process and weighted-sum method, thereby realizing the fine evaluation of the service accessibility of various urban cultural facilities. The experiment shows that the coverage of the service capacity of public facilities in the study area is good, but there are still spatial differences; corresponding optimization strategies are proposed for the construction of cultural facilities in the future based on the analysis results.
