ABSTRACT

Patients with pneumonia receiving thoracic tube treatment urgently need nursing experience and pain knowledge map. The pneumonia patient was a bedridden elderly patient with pleural effusion and received chest tube treatment.

The nursing strategy is to adopt individual nursing measures for patients, provide medical knowledge related to pleural effusion, alleviate patients' anxiety, teach medical skills of the chest tubes and wound self-care, and provide relevant dietary guidance.

This individual nursing measure helps to solve patients' physiological and psychological problems and teach family members to assist patients in-home care Improve the quality of life and reduce the repeated hospitalization of patients.
