Design of Brake Scheme of Double Track Sled Rocket sled

Published:31 December 2021Publication History

ABSTRACT

The method of water resistance was gained aiming to brake failure, hydraulic brake disintegration, sled body and brake serious deformation in double-track rocket sled dynamic test. The calculation equations were gained with hydraulic brake drag force and dynamic equation and braking distance was estimated twice with calculation formula of water resistance. The estimation results were consistent with the measured results. The correctness of the calculation equation of braking distance was verified. By increasing the sliding distance, reducing the velocity and segmented of rocket sled into water reduced brake force. The water brake plans of high speed double-track rocket sled are designed. That could guide double-track rocket sled dynamic test.
