A Scientometric Study on Ten Years (2011-2020) of IndiaHCI Conference Series

Published: 25 February 2022 Publication History

Abstract

The IndiaHCI conference series is prominent in promoting the development of the researchers, students, and professionals of different disciplines related to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The first IndiaHCI Conference was organised in 2004, and now it has completed 16 years. Therefore, there is a need to reflect on the previous work done in this conference. This study aims to analyse the published work of the IndiaHCI series of the conferences using the Scientometrics approach for the past ten years (2011-2020). The scientometric analysis provides valuable insights regarding the growth of publications and authors, citations, prolific authors, significant areas of research, most productive organisation, country-wise contribution, etc. The conference data is extracted from the available online database and analysed using citation analysis tools and visualisation software.
