ABSTRACT

This article takes 35 students in the online discussion forums of a course as the research objects, and studies the social network formed by them and the interaction between actors. Using the Social Network Analysis tool UCINET to analyze the network density, network centrality and cohesive subgroups. It is found that in this course, the connections between the learners are not very close, and the interaction is not frequent. Several learners play a key role in guiding and bridging. They are at the core of online collaborative learning and are also important members of online discussion forums. According to the analysis of social network and the analysis of students' learning effect, some suggestions for improving the effect of online discussion will be put forward for the future online discussion of colleges and universities, so as to improve the enthusiasm and interactive effect of learners.
