Modeling taxi drivers’ decisions at airport based on CART and Bellman Equation

Published: 28 March 2022 Publication History

Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze and study the influence mechanism of factors related to the decision-making of taxi drivers, comprehensively consider the changing law of the number of airport passengers and the income of taxi drivers, establish the taxi driver selection decision model, and give the driver's selection strategy. In this article, two methods are adopted: CART decision tree algorithm in classification prediction algorithm for modeling and dynamic programming equation method program simulation in numerical calculation. Finally, through the model to find out some factors that have a relatively large impact on the taxi driver's decision-making.
