Analysis of the Factors Influencing the Quality of Economic Growth and Coupling

Published: 28 March 2022 Publication History

Abstract

Abstract: At present, China's economy has shifted from high-speed development to high-quality development and is in a crucial period for transforming the growth model and improving the economic structure. We must adhere to the principle of putting quality over speed and efficiency first. Based on the current situation of Wuhan, this paper evaluates the current situation of Wuhan's economic growth quality from three aspects of economic structure, social progress and resources and environment. We find that there are several main problems in the quality of economic growth in Wuhan at present: First, the deterioration of economic structure, second, the uneven distribution of welfare, third, the greater environmental pressure. We put forward the corresponding improvement paths: such as the development of high-tech industries, we will increase the level of opening up to the outside world, regulate and control the distribution of welfare to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor, save energy and reduce consumption.
