Simulation Study on Impact Coupling Dynamics of Tight Lock Coupler

Abstract

The three-dimensional model of the tight-lock coupler is established by the three-dimensional modeling software, which including the trolley, the ground fixture, the track and the coupler buffer, and the dynamic simulation analysis is carried out, the maximum impact force of coupler draft gears is 606 KN and the maximum compression is 11.78 mm.
