ABSTRACT
The era of 2021 is referred to as digital transformation. This transformation is inseparable from the development of online games in terms of graphics and performance, which makes players forget everything and are not aware of the time used, even urgent matters concerning the identity of worship such as prayer are forgotten. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how high the influence of online games on the accuracy of performing prayers. The method used is the quantitative correlation with the number of research samples as many as 120 online game users in general, using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in obtaining data is a questionnaire released using a google form and distributed through social media. And processing the data that has been obtained is done by using a simple linear regression test. From the calculation results, it is concluded that the magnitude of the correlation value (R) is 0.641. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.411, which means that the effect of the independent variable (online game addiction) on the dependent variable (the accuracy of praying) is 41.1%. Therefore it can be interpreted that online game addiction has an influence of 41.1% on the accuracy of praying, while the remaining 58.9% is influenced by other factors. So from this, the researchers concluded that the higher the level of addiction, the more it will affect the accuracy in performing prayers. Therefore, this research is expected to contribute to the perpetrators of counseling guidance, both teachers, parents, and consular officers to be able to provide appropriate guidance to victims of online game addiction so that they can be wiser in using online games so that they do not hurt physical and psychological.
