Orthogonal transform processor cores based on discrete cosine transform (abstract only)

Published:01 February 2000Publication History

ABSTRACT

The conception of orthogonal transforms (OT) processors design is proposed. It is based on the choice of discrete cosine transform to serve basic transform for all other OT. The algorithms of OT calculating based on cosine transform are developed. An architecture of the multifunctional OT processor based on cosine transform and the architectures of the single-functional OT processors based on cosine transform are proposed.
