ABSTRACT
Abstract—FuschiaBand is a wearable device designed to assist physical therapy treatment for breast cancer patients in the following weeks of a major surgical procedure. It aims to bring home physical therapy treatments to the breast cancer patients and reduce the associated costs of physical therapy. The space of wearable tech today fixates on maximizing the number of features without much regard to its convenience and practicality to the users. Thus, saving time and money of patients is the principal goal that drove this team to create this device. This prototype was developed as a term project at the University of Washington, Global Innovation Exchange's Technology Innovation master's program.
