Contract Performance Monitoring Method Based on Earned Value Management and Performance Threshold Model

Published: 18 July 2022 Publication History

Abstract

In order to solve the problem that managers cannot accurately and comprehensively understand the situation and make timely adjustments in the process of contract performance supervision, a calculation method of real-time utility of the project based on the earned value management theory in project management is proposed. This method uses the Hall three-dimensional structure model combined with the evaluation index to realize real-time monitoring of contract performance. Furthermore, a threshold model of cost, schedule, and quality performance is proposed to analyze the deviation between the actual situation and the ideal state, and finally the feasibility and effectiveness of the method are illustrated by a practical example. This article improves the evaluation and analysis methods of contract performance monitoring, which can provide theoretical basis and practical reference for contract performance monitoring and management personnel.
