Research on professional doctoral education in China based on co-word network analysis

ABSTRACT

Taking 119 papers on professional doctoral education on CNKI as the research object, the co-word analysis method and social network analysis method are used to draw the knowledge map of China's professional doctoral education research involved in the 119 papers. Through the analysis, it is found that the research hotspots of professional doctoral education in China mainly focus on three areas: international comparative research on professional doctoral education, research on the training mode of professional doctorate, and meta-research on professional doctorate education. Future research should strengthen the empirical research on professional doctoral education, and explore a path for the implementation of professional doctoral education with its own characteristics based on the actual situation in China.
