Study on seismic performance of prefabricated special-shaped steel lattice column frame

Published: 14 October 2022 Publication History

Abstract

In order to solve the problems of complex structure and convex columns in prefabricated steel structure building, a new prefabricated special-shaped steel lattice column frame (SLCF) was proposed. The SLCF consists of special-shaped steel lattice column and H-shaped steel beam. The pushover analysis and dynamic elastic-plastic time-history analysis of 18-story SLCF system were performed by using MADIS GEN software, in which the carrying capacity, ductility, stiffness and energy dissipation of SLCF were analysed. The results indicate that SLCF system has high lateral bearing capacity and strength reserve. The ductility coefficient is 4.56-6.25. The yield mechanism of SLCF system is that the supports yield first and then frame beams yield, the columns yield finally. The structural design of SLCF meets the seismic performance target of rare earthquakes.
