ABSTRACT

Vacuum cleaners have developed rapidly over the past hundred years. As a necessary tool for cleaning, the vacuum cleaner however is expected to be more efficient, flexible and multifunctional to meet current demands. This paper provides a brief analysis of the innovative design ideas of vacuum cleaners, including ergonomics-based optimization, efficiency improvement on high-speed centrifugal fans and the reduction of vacuum cleaner noise, which thus provides the targeted optimization recommendations for the future vacuum cleaner.
