Developing a sense of confidence and belonging in first-year CS students

ABSTRACT

In this poster, we will outline the research we will be doing with our summer school students and our first years to track sense of confidence and belonging for different demographics across first year, and research around how our new pastoral activities are promoting these values within the school.
