It is our immense pleasure to welcome you to the 2023 ACM International Conference on Management of Data - SIGMOD'23.

As the world is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, and after two years of an online-only and a year of hybrid conferences, SIGMOD'23 went back to a fully in-person conference format. This year, the conference is held in the Seattle metropolitan area in the Pacific Northwestern state of Washington, USA. Over the past four decades, the Seattle area has developed into a technology hub with the headquarters of major technology corporations, such as Microsoft and Amazon, and hundreds of major technology companies and start-ups having presence in this area. This region also boasts a significant presence in the Databases, Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence with major companies, research institutions, and universities focusing in these areas. The conference venue is the Hyatt Regency hotel in Bellevue, Washington, a bustling and fast-growing sister city about ten miles east of Seattle downtown. The conference banquet is in the Amazon Meeting Center in Seattle at the heart of Amazon's campus, right next to the Amazon Spheres which are three spherical conservatories which are home to more than 40,000 plants from the forest regions of over 30 countries.
