Design and Implementation of a Secure and Distributed Electronic Voucher Management System

Published: 16 October 2022 Publication History

Abstract

Dealing with vouchers, paper or electronic, for both in-store and online purchases is a common customer experience. Electronic vouchers are most popular in recent times as they can be distributed easily to a wide range of customers through the Internet. Maintaining the security and privacy of these electronic vouchers which are now ubiquitous in today's cyber marketspaces is a major challenge, as poor security measures can badly impact both business owners and customers. In this paper, we propose a secure and tamper-resistant electronic voucher management system using the eTRON cybersecurity architecture. Our system implements the full lifecycle of an electronic voucher from its creation to redemption.
