Abstract
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 28th ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming (PPoPP). PPoPP continues to be the premier forum for research in all aspects of the practice and theory of parallelism. Parallelism abounds at every level of the computing stack these days, from embedded systems to data centers, from the storage layer to the most complex applications of machine learning, and the PPoPP community continues to push the boundaries of all these areas of inquiry.
