Design and implementation of laboratory management system based on PowerBuilder

Published:14 April 2023Publication History

ABSTRACT

Aiming at the privacy and efficiency requirements of laboratory management in colleges and universities, this paper designs and implements a safe and reliable laboratory management system based on PowerBuilder. First, after completing the analysis of the system function and performance, based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML), the role relationships and domain class relationships such as administrators and teachers are modeled. Secondly, according to the actual construction requirements of the laboratory management system, the functional modules of the system are constructed from five aspects: user login management, data maintenance management, laboratory management, experiment management and system management. Finally, based on PowerBuilder and SQL Server, the call and connection of user interface and background database are realized, and the design effect of each functional module is shown. The design system can meet the daily work and maintenance of the laboratory.
