Urban Air Quality Comprehensive Assessment System Based on Improved TOPSIS and Principal Component Analysis

Published: 10 April 2023 Publication History

Abstract

In order to remedy the reverse order and compatibility problems of traditional TOPSIS evaluation methods in air quality assessment, this paper proposes a comprehensive urban air quality assessment system based on improved TOPSIS and principal component analysis. In this method, the influence of pollutants on air quality is determined by subjective and objective weighting method, and the comprehensive weight of indicators is calculated by using relative entropy. By calculating the relative closeness of each evaluation sample, the air quality of the urban circle is comprehensively evaluated, and the air quality level of Wuhan is obtained [1]. Then, a mathematical model for air quality prediction is established to predict the air quality of Wuhan in the next five years, and the air quality is systematically evaluated and risk assessed. Through system optimization, solutions are sought to improve the air quality.
