Published: 05 May 2023 Publication History

Abstract

This paper uses the Stata16.0 software tool and uses the relevant data of the 2013-2020 company annual reports, financial statement notes, organizational governance structure and other related data of manufacturing listed companies that come from the RESSET financial research database and CSMAR to analyze and research the relationship between the level of digitalization of manufacturing enterprises and the value of enterprises. The research results show that the level of hardware digitalization in the manufacturing industry has an inhibitory effect on enterprise value, and the level of software digitalization and digital talents in manufacturing enterprises can promote the improvement of enterprise value. These conclusions provide useful advice and valuable experience for the manufacturing industry that receive a new upgrade with the help of digital technology to promote sustainable development of enterprises.
