ABSTRACT
Many challenges are associated with the public’s use of open data. Often, there needs to be more skills and knowledge to develop ideas from published raw data, implement specific projects, and generate added value. The emergence of generative AI tools can help remedy this. This work-in-progress article presents approaches towards using ChatGPT as a companion for interested users who want to deal with open data and points out exemplary applications.
