ABSTRACT
The RPJMN is required to increase independent villages by 2,000 and decrease underdeveloped villages by 5,000 through the IPD. The government has prioritized village development before moving on to national development. The outcomes of the village potential can be utilized as raw data for regional analyses of the potential for regional infrastructure, facilities, and services on an economic, social, and regional level. Additionally, it is employed in creating regionally based policies and strategies and program evaluation. In terms of the economy, it is known that 16,738 communities already have markets with permanent and semi-permanent structures. There are 7,873 communities with open-air markets. Regarding other trading facilities, it is well known that Indonesia (76,085) has practically all of its communities equipped with food stores or stalls. Thirty-seven thousand nine hundred fifty-five communities have small or micro-sized wood industries. The 36,374 villages with a food and beverage industry—technology aids regional development, which is carried out to boost regional development's competitiveness.
