ICT Research in Mathematics Learning (Bibliometric Review: ICT Research in Mathematics Learning (1999-2023))

Published:04 December 2023Publication History

ABSTRACT

The use of ICT in learning mathematics can help students to more easily understand mathematics. This study aims to determine trends in writing articles on the use of ICT in mathematics learning, trends in articles that have the highest number of citations, classification of journal rankings, country of origin of journals, and mapping in searching for trends in international scientific publications using the Scopus database. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The data taken from the Scopus database data was refined to become 128 publications. In 2020, a greater number of articles have been published compared to preceding years, specifically amounting to 17 publications. The trend of citations regarding ICT in learning mathematics occurred in 2020 with 156 citations. Indonesia has become an influential country regarding this research with 20 publications and 17 links in collaboration with other countries. The focus of research related to ICT in learning mathematics is 1) mathematics education and students; 2) Mathematics and mathematical techniques and; 3) e-learning and education.
