Research on the Impact of Digital Inclusive Finance on High-Quality Economic Development

ABSTRACT

This paper first calculates the high-quality development index of China's economy in the new era. Secondly, based on the panel data of 31 provincial-level regions in China from 2011 to 2020, this paper empirically analyzes the impact of digital inclusive finance on high-quality economic development. The study finds that digital inclusive finance can significantly promote the high-quality development of the regional economy. In terms of dimensions, the depth of use and the degree of digitization play an important role in promoting high-quality economic development. In terms of sub-regions, the promotion effect of the eastern region is the most significant, and the western region is the smallest; scientific and technological innovation and consumption level have a certain conduction effect, and scientific and technological innovation shows a partial mediating effect and consumption level shows a masking effect.
