Improved SVPWM Simplified Algorithm Based on NPC Three Level Three Phase Inverter

Published:17 January 2024Publication History

ABSTRACT

Aim to reduce the offset of the midpoint voltage of the NPC three-level three-phase inverter, the paper proposes an improved SVPWM algorithm by redistributing the time of the action of seven-segment vectors on the basis of analyzing the effect of the basic vectors on its midpoint voltage, and derives the zero-sequence components that can simplify the algorithm by combining the principles of the SPWM algorithm and the SVPWM algorithm. Finally, it is verified on the Simulink of Matlab, and the results show that the improved simplified algorithm can availably decrease the amount of computation and reduce the degree of offset of the midpoint voltage.
