The Effect Comparison of The Steps And The Use of ICT in Instructional Supervision Through Teaching Simulation on The Teachers'Instruction Quality

Abstract

The teacher's teaching quality influences student learning outcomes. The higher the teacher's teaching quality, the higher the student learning outcomes. Therefore, the teacher's teaching quality should always be improved to enhance the student's learning outcomes. Instructional supervision is the main activity program that can be conducted to improve the teacher's teaching quality. One of the instructional supervision techniques that can be implemented is through teaching simulations. This study examined the effect of teaching simulations on the teacher's teaching quality. There were 110 teachers taken randomly as samples in East Java, Indonesia. The study used questionnaires as the data collection technique. Descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were used to analyze the data. The study results show that there is no significant effect of teacher involvement in teaching simulation activities on the quality of teaching. The research findings are discussed deeply based on the theory and previous study results.
