Design of 16ch Input and 4ch Output High-speed Analog Matrix Switching Circuit

Published: 28 February 2024 Publication History

Abstract

Matrix switcher is a key component of automatic test systems to extend testing ports. This paper proposes a design scheme of analog matrix switcher with high stability targeting the disadvantages of simple function and poor expandability of current matrix switchers. The scheme consists of the broadband matrix switcher circuit plus the signal conditioning circuit at its core, and is divided into two channels: the straight-through channel with an amplitude of less than 1, and the attenuation-amplification channel with an amplitude greater than 1. In this paper, a circuit of high-precision amplification with compensation for gain using a band-stop filter has been created based on filter theory. This addresses the drawbacks attributable to low flatness of operational amplifier circuits with high gain.
