A spacecraft harness design system based on closed loop control

Published: 05 February 2024 Publication History

Abstract

Spacecraft harness contacts design requires high efficiency and high quality. This paper introduces a design system based on closed loop control to help designers to achieve that requirement. The system sets two verification modules in harness design process to check and feedback the errors:1. Input data check module verifies if the input data is reasonable, this function may reduce iterations in harness design process; 2. Output data review module has forward review function and backward review function to verify the consistency of output data and input data, this function may improve the accuracy of the design result. This design system monitors and corrects the design results of each work item promptly. It shortens the feedback link between upstream and downstream work and optimizes the work items in harness design process. Simulation results show that the system improves the design accuracy rate to 100% and design efficiency by 35.11%.
