Analysis of Long Distance Control Circuit for Contactors

Published: 26 March 2024 Publication History

Abstract

The impact of voltage drop in long distance control line and capacitance current on the reliable suction and disconnection of conductors is analyzed. The maximum allowable length of AC220V control line for 2.5 mm2 wires that meet the requirements of contactor suction and disconnection are calculated. A solution is proposed when the route exceeds the maximum allowable length of the control line, providing reference for engineering practice.
