ABSTRACT
Under the background of the Chinese national innovation strategy, the collaborative innovation of the Industry-University-Research (I-U-R) has become an important driving force for the rapid development of the biomedical industry in Fujian Province, China. Based on Social Network Analysis (SNA) and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), this paper analyzes the patent data of the Industry-University-Research cooperation in the biomedical industry in Fujian Province from 2001 to 2020. The results show that the innovation cooperation and development scale of biomedical industry is constantly expanding in Fujian Province, and the types of innovation cooperation are mainly based on Industry-University, Industry-Industry, and Industry-Research cooperation; Universities play an important central role in innovation cooperation and form multiple cooperative sub-networks, and the collaborative innovation network gradually evolves to be a core-edge structure; in the biomedical industry, the mainstream directions of innovation cooperation are Biomedical Science and Biodegradation, and the cooperation on other topics is relatively weak.
