Design and optimization of control system for automatic paper laying machine

Published:08 March 2024Publication History

ABSTRACT

The glass production line has automatic cutting and palletizing and packing processes. During the palletizing process, a layer of dry anti-mold paper should be placed in between every piece of glass to prevent the glass from producing mold and sticking defects with each other during transportation and storage. This process uses an automatic paper spreader instead of manual labor to avoid worker scratches and work errors. The overall design of the automatic paper laying machine is made. The paper laying machine adopts horizontal and vertical double-axis linkage, the vertical is the paper roll rotating around the core axis, and the horizontal is the linear reciprocating motion, the two motions match each other. The control system is controlled by PLC, the circuit diagram of the control system is designed, and the hardware of the control system is designed and selected. The specific design of PLC-based motion control for the paper laying machine was carried out. The system has achieved good practical results in glass production, so that the production efficiency and storage quality have been significantly improved.
