ABSTRACT
With the acceleration of economic globalization, the degree of economic openness of all countries has been greatly improved. As an important role in the process of economic globalization, regional economic integration has also attracted more and more attention from all countries in the world. This paper will take China as the perspective, based on big data analysis, adopt a gravity model with fixed effect to study the influence of EAFTA (East Asian Free Trade Area) on China's economic effect. The results show that the trade integration index between China and the member countries of EAFTA is relatively high. Japan and South Korea import a large share of intermediate goods, while the export price is reduced. The establishment of EAFTA is conducive to increasing the total import and export volume of China. After the completion of EAFTA, it has an obvious positive effect on the growth rate of mutual trade between the two sides.
