Screening of ischemic heart failure-related genes based on biosignature analysis

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Based on the bioinformatics approach, preliminary initial analysis of differentially expressed genes in ischemic heart failure and normal healthy myocardial tissues and exploring the pathogenesis, searching for new prevention and treatment strategies. METHODS: The dataset GSE16499 was selected from the GEO database, and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were analyzed by borrowing the R language. GO functional annotation, disease ontology enrichment analysis (DO) and KEGG were performed on the DEGs, and the common differentially expressed genes in ischemic heart failure were identified by the Lasso algorithm and SVM algorithm, respectively, and validated against the common differentially expressed genes. RESULTS: The Lasso algorithm screened 12 core genes including FCN3, PTPRU, LPCAT3, POLR2J, IMP4, RNF144B, CYREN, KCND3, POLE4, RETSAT, TUBA3E, etc., and the SVM algorithm screened ATIC, RNF41, SNRPB, FCN3, LPCAT3, YKT6, NANS, and 31 other core genes, while the total number of key genes that were identical to both was 5. CONCLUSION: This study used bioinformatics to screen ischemic heart failure-related DEGs and related pathogenesis, which provides a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment and subsequent scientific research.
