Design of multi-point positioning system based on LabVIEW

Published:16 April 2024Publication History

ABSTRACT

In order to locate the installation position of the sensor in the local detection system, this paper designs a GPS positioning system based on Google map LabVIEW. First, the geographic location of each sensor in the area is obtained by a GPS receiver. The system adopts NMEA0183 protocol and GPS error data filtering to improve the reliability of GPS positioning. Secondly, the ZigBee module is used to build the positioning signal into a star communication network, forming a master-slave communication mode. Each sensor contains a slave ZigBee module that forms a communication subsystem. The positioning signals from each sensor are then sent to the master ZigBee module. Thirdly, through GPRS wireless communication transmission, all the sensor positioning informations are transmitted to the PC. Finally, in the LabVIEW programming environment, this paper loads Google electronic map by calling Google Maps API, so that the sensor can be marked and displayed on the electronic map. The positioning system has good application value and is worthy of reference.
