Information Extraction of Bridge Structure Division and BIM Data-Driven Based on Text Mining

Published: 01 June 2024 Publication History

Abstract

Aiming at the problems existing in the process of bridge structure division, such as the large amount of text information data and the different ways of bridge structure division in the construction period and maintenance period, a set of information extraction and coding translation methods for bridge structure division based on mining technology is proposed. First, input the acquired text data of the project site sub-items and use the stem extraction technology to extract the bridge structure information; secondly, use the text fuzzy matching algorithm to perform fuzzy matching on the extracted data to achieve the remaining text extraction and from the bottom to the top one by one. Based on the structure type library during construction period and maintenance period, text mapping and translation rules are proposed. Finally, the extracted bridge structure information is applied to the BIM & GIS model to realize project progress control and data traceability. The engineering practice results show that the method proposed in this paper can solve the extraction of structural information in the process of bridge structure division, improve the efficiency of bridge structure division, realize the coding and translation of bridge structure division information from engineering construction period to maintenance period, and the divided bridge structure data can provide data-driven support for BIM whole process management and realize data empowerment.
