Development and design of Hainan extreme weather power training based on VR technology

Published: 01 June 2024 Publication History

Abstract

In view of the possible typhoon, fire and earthquake in Hainan, this paper focuses on the research of VR power training project based on extreme weather. First, the potential impact of extreme weather on the power system in Hainan is described, and a highly immersive training experience can be provided by replicating the scenario in a virtual environment. Secondly, according to the response plan of Hainan Power Grid, this paper proposes VR power training courses for typhoon distribution, fire power transformation and earthquake transmission. Students can choose to learn according to their job requirements. Finally, by analyzing the necessity of emergency repair, integrating this part into the course training can effectively improve the students' emergency repair ability and response skills, and provide strong support for ensuring the reliable operation of the power system and emergency repair work.
