Optimal Maintenance Strategies Considering Opportunity Costs and Repair Actions

Published: 26 December 2024 Publication History

Abstract

The development of a maintenance strategy is crucial for the operation of the equipment. Currently, the optimization of maintenance decision-making largely disregards the influence of human factors. It may result in maintenance strategies being distorted by risk attitudes and not being effectively implemented. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effects of lifetime prediction and risk attitudes on optimal maintenance decisions from a perspective of limited rationality.
