Social, historical and cultural investigation of contemporary college students' learning burnout based on big data analysis and its countermeasures

Published: 30 May 2024 Publication History

Abstract

In order to prevent and overcome learning burnout, it is of great practical value to help college students spend their college time healthily and fully. This paper designs a study burnout questionnaire from three dimensions: depression, improper behavior and low sense of accomplishment. Through a survey of 628 college students in a southwest university, it is found that the current study burnout of college students is obvious, among which the study burnout of boys is slightly higher than that of girls, the study burnout of science students is higher than that of liberal arts students, and the study burnout of fourth-grade students is significantly higher than that of other grades. The survey results show that teachers' unattractive teaching, too professional courses, lack of interest in courses, and too much time spent on online entertainment are the main reasons for academic burnout. Finally, this paper puts forward a series of countermeasures and suggestions on students' learning burnout based on the educational investigation experience of American universities.
